Debenhams has recruited Sergio Bucher as its new CEO, replacing Michael Sharp who leaves the role in June. Bucher joins from Amazon where he has led the business’ fashion division for three years. Bucher was selected for his deep eCommerce experience against a raft of other candidates, including Debenhams group trading director Suzanne Harlow who is, we understand, remaining with the business.
