Debenhams to target premium brands

Debenhams which has been re-positioning as a digital department store since its acquisition by Boohoo Group in 2021 has set its sights on adding a premium fashion offering to the site.

Debenhams which now operates as a marketplace, selling on commission, currently has some 1500 brands available at its site and recently added Estee Lauder and MAC. It is offering premium brands an elevated presence and aims to rebuild Debenhams as ‘the great British digital department store’.
