Delia Smith is one of
the most respected cookery writers in the UK, selling over 21 million books
worldwide and presenting TV programmes for the BBC for over forty years.
Delia’s website launched in 2001 quickly
became the UK’s leading cookery site. A new
collaboration this year sees Delia Online increasing its digital marketing
efforts with the appointment of Forfront to transform its email marketing
platform.
Melanie Grocott, managing editor at Delia Online, explained that she was hoping
for a successful partnership between the two companies that, “Improves the
performance of our email marketing efforts with increased open, click and
overall engagement rates for our campaigns.”
Grocott said
Delia Online wanted to, “Work with a company who understands our email
marketing objectives and shares the same values when it comes to
data-management”. She continued, saying that Delia Online sought to, “optimise
performance for email newsletters across multi-platforms – desktop, tablet and
mobile”, as well as to, “obtain more detailed, and easy to use, reporting
data”.
Adding “The transition to Forfront was an easy one with expert guidance, help
and support readily available from their account management team. From what
we’ve experienced so far working with the e-shot™ platform, we’re looking
forward to growing our email marketing opportunities, with Forfront helping us
shape our data choices.”
Marketing Manager at Forfront, Vicki Russell,
said of the new collaboration, “We’re delighted to be able to welcome Delia
Online to Forfront. It’s an honour to work alongside such a household name with
a huge, loyal fan base, and we can’t wait to begin helping their email
marketing really flourish.”
