DHL eCommerce UK to merge with Evri

The deal announced between DHL eCommerce UK and Evri will, the parties say, create a one-stop solution for domestic and international parcel logistics. DHL Group will acquire a significant minority stake in the new combined Evri Group, with Evri retaining its core branding.

It is suggested that the merged business will deliver over one billion parcels and a further one billion business letters annually. The new group will include an expanded international capacity for inbound and outbound parcels with faster transit times across the world. It also sees Evri entering the UK business letter market for the first time, with DHL’s UK Mail retained in the new combined group.

Following completion, Martijn de Lange will lead the combined business in the UK, with Stu Hill, who is currently CEO of DHL eCommerce UK, becoming MD of Evri’s Premium DHL network business. The DHL eCommerce UK team will also join the new group.
