Direct Golf UK, a multichannel retailer of golf equipment,
has secured a £3.5 million funding package backed by the Royal Bank of Scotland
to take its business to the next level. A poor summer in 2012 saw chairman and
founder John Andrew personally inject more than £500,000 to ease constraints on
cash flow. He believes this funding will now give the business “the room to
grow and develop”.
