Doddle signs up Countrywide Farmers

Countrywide Farmers which is a multichannel business supplying a range of products and services to the rural community is offering its customers the option of having their order delivered to a Doddle parcel shop. The Doddle service of staffed  online shopping collection and returns points within Network Rail stations and major hubs is expected to extend to 300 outlets in the UK over the next three years.

Brian McArdle, online channel manager for Countrywide said “As each Doddle parcel shop opens Countrywide customers will be able to have their items delivered to those locations. The majority of Countrywide customers are based in the rural community and therefore spend a great deal of time workiong outside which proves to be inconvenient when it comes to home de.overies. We have for some time been looking at various solutions to this challenge to ensure customers receive greater flexibility and value when shopping online with Countrywide. Doddle offers a good opportunity to further grow and develop Countrywide’s online offer and operate a a true multichannel rural retailer.”
