DPD is partnering with an investment firm to support tech start-ups who have potential new developments to bring to the home delivery sector. Funding of £100,000 is available together with mentoring from sector experts to enable selected start ups to develop their solutions with the benefit of DPD data and mentoring. Those chosen will be invited to join an 8 week programme which starts in April. DPD’s partner in the scheme is investment firm L Marks which has already been involved in the John Lewis JLab incubator programme and together they hope to be able nurture innovative individuals and enable them to refine and launch their offerings for the benefit of carriers, retailers and the retailers’ customers.
