Drake’s London which acquired Chard, Somerset based Rayner
& Sturges – one of the UK’s last remaining independent shirtmakers back in
the summer has also now invested in a new tie factory in Shoreditch. The menswear
business which counts Daniel Craig and Jude Law as customers aims to revive the
Cleeve shirt brand at the Somerset factory which in its heyday supplied the likes
of Dunhill and Paul Smith.
