Dreams has acquired the Feather & Black brand (F&B) and IP, but will not be taking on its eight stores. The retailer will now overhaul the F&B website as it looks to turn the fortunes of the brand around. It was acquired from Hilding & Anders which had struggled to transform it into a profitable business.
Dreams is believed to have paid around £400,000 for the brand and it said on its website: “With a mutual passion for creating beautiful bedrooms and a shared vested interest in ensuring you sleep well, we are happy to announce that Dreams, the UK’s number one specialist bed retailer, has become the new owner of Feather & Black. The F&B brand that you know and love, along with our carefully curated products, will remain the same, and we are excited about the developments to our offering we’ll be able to make with the backing of dreams.”
