Duke and Dexter outsources fulfilment

High-end men’s footwear brand, Duke & Dexter, has outsourced its online order fulfilment operation to DK Fulfilment Ltd. The contract will operate from DKF’s 165,000 sq ft multi-user facility in the West Midlands and will see DKF take responsibility for storage, pick, pack, despatch and returns management of the full range of Duke & Dexter ‘loafer’ style shoes.

In addition, DKF’s sister company – DK Packaging – has worked with Duke & Dexter to design and supply stylish storage boxes for the shoes as well as more robust branded outer packaging to protect orders during transit.

Duke & Dexter label ‘loafers’ are designed and made in Britain and sold in over 100 countries worldwide. UK stockists include Liberty’s and Harrods, although the overwhelming majority of sales come via the company’s online channel. Celebrities including football coach, Jose Mourinho, and actor, Eddie Redmayne are regular customers.

Archie Hewlett, who founded Duke & Dexter in 2014, commented: “Like so many online start-ups we had been fulfilling orders in-house, but as our brand has grown, this had become increasingly impractical. Appointing DKF will free-up a lot of management time which can now be more usefully spent developing our label and growing our markets around the world.”
