Two of the UK’s leading independent organic tea brands have come together following the English Tea Shop’s acquisition of Joe’s Tea Company. The founders of the two businesses have had a long standing working relationship as Joe’s Tea Company has sourced its Sri Lankan tea from English Tea Shop’s parent company Amazon Trading Ltd. Both businesses have strong wholesale distribution into prestigious retail businesses like, for example, Selfridges, as well as sales to upmarket restaurants and direct online sales to consumers via marketplaces.
