William Rollason, the former chief executive of Farepak’s parent company European Home Retail and a director of the collapsed hampers company, has been “severely reprimanded” by the UK’s financial watchdog the Financial Reporting Council (FRC). He will have to pay a fine of £15,000 and make a contribution of £50,000 towards the FRC’s costs as a result of failing to act in accordance with the ethics of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
