Evans Cycles is riding on the wave of interest in cycling
and for the year to November 2013 posted sales of £144 million, and 8.7 per
cent increase over the previous year. This in turn generated an increase in
annual pre-tax profit which rose from £269,000 in 2012 to £2.3 million. The
business now plans to expand its store chain as well as focus on its ecommerce
channel which has seen growth in click and collect as well as mobile ordering.
