Expansys, an online retailer of wireless technology and
provider of mobile network services, for the year to 30th April 2013 has seen
turnover fall 14 per cent from £108.5 million in 2012 to £93.2 million. Pretax
profit was at £1.5 million, down from £4.3 million the previous year. In the
UK, Expansys.com improved its gross profit for the year by 3 per cent and
reduced its losses annually by over £500,000 following prior year cost
reductions. Expansys retail division in Europe, including the UK, saw revenue
decrease 24 per cent to £38.1 million, down from £50.2 million in the previous
year.
