Findel-owned Express Gifts has bought the name, stock and assets
of HHS Trading (UK) Limited, trading as Health and Home Shopping.
Salford, Greater Manchester-based Health & Home Shopping, which
sells via catalogue and the web, has 100 employees. It will
continue to fulfil customer orders from its existing facilities.
At the time of Deloitte’s appointment, joint administrator Bill
Dawson commented, “The company has suffered trading losses
as a result of lower-than-expected sales during the off-peak
summer period, and the resultant cash pressure was compounded by
the recent postal strikes.”
