Farfetch has acquired the London based fashion boutique browns from the Burstein family, with founder Joan Burstein remaining as honorary chairman and her children Simon and Caroline remaining as advisors with seats on the board of directors. The acquisition will enable Farfetch to press ahead and create the “Store of the Future” business unit which will bed led by Sandrine Devaux, former Harvey Nichols multichannel director whilst Browns will be headed by former Net-a-Porter fashion director Holli Rogers.
