Farmison launches crowdfunding campaign

Farmison & Co, an online meat supplier is using the Seedrs platform with the aim of raising £2 million in new funding based upon a 13.44 per cent equity stake in its business. As of this week, the business has secured £1.7m from 500 investors.

To date, Farmison has shipped over half a million orders with a total value of more than £40m, since it launched in 2011. The business also wholesales its heritage and rare breed meats and counts Fortnum & Mason, Harrods and Selfridges among its customers.

The investment will be used to support its brand marketing, customer segmentation, improving operational efficiency, inventory management, and in developing new lines.
