Feelunique plans website makeover to fuel expansion

Beauty and cosmetics products etailer Feelunique.com saw earnings
more than double in the year ended March 2012. It delivered
EBITDA of £1.98 million, up 120 per cent on last year, while
turnover also grew, by 63 per cent, to £26.7 million. The
growth is attributed to the company’s successful expansion
strategy and integrated marketing campaigns, including a national
TV advertising push and increased media spend.

In order to continue its upward trajectory, Feelunique plans to
revamp its website and extend its worldwide offering. The
retailer will roll out on-site search, navigation and
merchandising tools that will allow shoppers around the world to
find items faster and benefit from a more enjoyable user
experience. Feelunique intends to have all the developments,
delivered by eCommerce technology company Fredhopper, in place by
September.

The Jersey-based company is predicting to grow 76 per cent to
£46.8 million during the next 12 months, with growth
opportunities in the UK and overseas.
