Family owned department store chain Fenwick is to part company with its CEO Robbie Feather and non-executive chair Richard Pennycook. The pair had been drafted in to lead the transformation of the business in 2018 and 2017 respectively. John Edgar now takes the CEO role and Steve Barber becomes interim chair. Mark Fenwick said: “This is an unprecedented time for the retail sector, and we are pleased to welcome John Edgar as Fenwick’s new chief executive. We look forward to working closely the John and the whole team to help guide Fenwick through this incredibly challenging time.” Fenwick has now temporarily closed its online operation, in addition to its remaining stores.
