Fishing Republic which floated in 2015 has acquired FishXL, a retail business trading as Cotswold Angling, for a consideration of £170,000. Cotswold Angling operates from a 4000 sq.ft. store
in Swindon and posted sales of £434,000 for the year to September 2014. In addition, Fishing Republic will open an 11,000 sq.ft. store in Crewe in March. These developments will be funded through a £500,000 share placing.
