IronmongeryDirect.com has appointed former Screwfix managing
director, John Allan to its board of directors. During his
time at Screwfix Direct, turnover increased by 300 per cent to
over £250m. John Allan said, “I have known Ironmongery
Direct for several years, both as a customer and an industry
insider. In each of these capacities, I have always been
impressed by the high standards of the business, and particularly
their commitment to excellent customer service”. He
continued, “I am very pleased to be working with the team
to achieve their goal of significant profitable growth.”
