Fortnum & Mason achieved record sales and profits for the year to July. Sales were up by 19 per cent to £88 million, with online sales increasing by 22 per cent, and pre-tax profits up by 31 per cent to £5 million. The business is also looking forward to a very busy festive season with strong sales of gift hampers, some of which retail at £4000 and are delivered by liveried horse & cart, at the fore. The retailer has also opened a store in Dubai in the past year.
