Frasers brings former JD brands into Flannels

Frasers Group is closing most of the Guilio, Choice and Base Childrenswear stores which came as part of its acquisition of fifteen brands from rival JD Sports Fashion. All three of the brands are holding closing down sales in locations where Frasers Group has a Flannels presence. The future of the remaining acquired stores is, as yet, unknown.

The retailer has also announced that Base Childrenswear will become Flannels Junior as part of the integration exercise.

Meanwhile, it has emerged that Studio Retail which Frasers Group acquired last year had racked up pre-tax losses of £75.7m prior to the acquisition.
