Frasers Group has further increased its stake in ASOS to stand at 23 per cent. This builds on its having accumulated 22.7 per cent last week.
Rumour is rife that Frasers Group – which has also increased its stake in boohoo – will swoop for a controlling stake in one or the other of the businesses.
Meanwhile, it has also announced the acquisition of German sportswear chain SportScheck in order to drive further into the European market.
