French Connection has launched a formal sales process and is in discussions with four potential suitors regarding a takeover.
In a statement to investors, the retailer confirmed that negotiations with Spotlight Brands, in conjunction with Gordon Brothers International, had fallen through.
However, it is still in preliminary talks with Go Global Retail, in conjunction with HMJ International Services. It has also been approached by three other interested parties, who have not been named.
The company said: “There can be no certainty that an offer will be made for the Company, nor as to the terms on which any offer will be made.”
