French Connection plunges into red


Apparel group French Connection has plunged into the red,
posting an underlying loss of £7.2 million in the year ending 31st January,
compared with a profit of £4.6 million last year. Revenues were also down 8
percent to £197.3 million, but chief executive Stephen Marks says “good
progress” is being made in restoring the business to profitability.
