Full year sales decline for Moonpig

In its full year results to 30th April 2022, Moonpig has posted a fall in its revenues of 17.3 per cent as compared to 2021. Impacted by the re-opening of stores as Covid-19 restrictions eased, Moonpig ended the year with group revenue of £304.3 million and adjusted EBITDA of £74.9m, and profit before tax of £51.5m.

Nickyl Raithatha, Monnpig CEO said: “Our first full year as a listed company has been another transformational period for Moonpig Group, financially, operationally and strategically. We have significantly outperformed the targets set out at IPO, and recently announced the proposed acquisition of Buyagift, which will accelerate our journey to becoming the ultimate gifting companion.”
