Games Workshop has reported an increase in its revenues for the 26 weeks to 27 November 2022, reaching £226.2m which is up from the £211.6m achieved for the same period last year. Pre-tax profits were not as good though, coming in at £83.6m from the £88.2m it posted last year.
The big commercial news for the business has yet to come following the announcement that it has reached an agreement in principle with an Amazon subsidiary to develop its IP into film and TV productions. This would, market watchers say, drive huge demand for Games Workshop’s Warhammer miniatures and send its revenues soaring.
