Chester based GB Group has reached agreement to acquire US business Acuant for £547m which will see it become a global leader in identity verification and identity fraud prevention. For the 12 months to September 30th, 2021 Acuant posted US$58.1m in revenue and is a fast-growing, profitable and cash generative business.
The deal which is expected to complete at the end of November will create an enlarged group with a complementary customer base offering significant cross-selling opportunities while accelerating GBG’s data, product and platform strategy by some two years.
