RKW, owned by Sutton Venture Group, has acquired the Goblin vacuum cleaner brand from Glen Electric.
Goblin has been around since 1926, when it was launched by the British Vacuum Company. RKW will see it sit alongside a raft of well-known brands including Tower, Breville, Russell Hobbs and Swan for which it designs, manufactures, and distributes small domestic appliances.
SVG chairman Rob Sutton said: “Goblin, steeped in British heritage is recognised for its quality and value, and fits perfectly with our existing brand portfolio and our international growth strategy.”
