Halfords has appointed Core Management Logistics (CML) to handle pre-retail services for its growing cycling clothing and accessories range. CML is expected to process some 10,000 units per week working in tandem with and supporting Halfords national distribution centre (NDC) in Coventry.
Under the terms of the contract, CML will receive product from Halfords’ suppliers and then prepare individual products for sale which involves hanging, tagging and labelling, before delivering into Halfords’ NDC for onward distribution to stores and direct online customers.
