In the 13 week period to 28th June 2013, automotive
accessories retailer Halfords saw group sales rise by 8.8 percent with retail
sales up 9 percent. The group’s like-for-like sales rose 7.5 percent, while
Halfords like-for-like retail sales were up 8.8 percent. Online sales during
the period were also impressive at Halfords, up 15.5 percent, with cycling
making up over half of online revenues. Sat Nav online sales were up 9.4
percent in the 13 week period.
