Harrods appoints digital director

Harrods has appointed Caitlin Innes as its first digital and strategy director. The role encompasses driving the retailer’s digital and omnichannel strategy as well as overseeing online trading, digital marketing, CRM and customer insight. Innes joins from Burberry where she held the role of director of digital commerce.

Harrods managing director Michael Ward said: “Digital plays a key role in our ongoing commitment to investing in customer experience, both in terms of pure eCommerce and discovery. I am delighted to welcome Caitlin to the team and look forward to working with her to deliver on our ambitious plans for the future.”
