Industrial and materials handling specialist HC Slingsby has confirmed that its sales for the nine months to 30 September, 2024 were 8 per cent down on those achieved for the same period in the prior year.
The business said that many of its customers were cutting or deferring spending as a reaction to the increase to minimum wage as well as general uncertainty as to what the future holds in respect of tax and regulatory changes.
