Hobbs likely to be sold after Financial Director leaves

The Independent reports that fashion label Hobbs is unlikely
to be sold after its finance director Loraine Woodhouse joined the John Lewis
Partnership, the owner of department store chain John Lewis and supermarket
Waitrose, as corporate finance director. Hobbs last year hired advisers at the
accountancy firm PwC, which started rumours that the company was being readied
for a sale of over £200 million in early 2014.
