Amsterdam has been chosen as the location for the first of 20 new Hudson’s Bay department in the Netherlands, three of which will trade under the Saks Off Fifth Avenue brand name. Many of the stores will open in premises previously occupied by the Dutch group V&D which is now defunct. Hudson’s Bay already operates stores in Belgium via its acquisition of Kaufhof and also plans to open stores in Luxembourg.
