iForce has secured a long-term contract extension to continue providing a range of dedicated multi-channel fulfilment services under its Gateway brand to Fortnum & Mason. This includes the supply of products to Fortnum and Mason’s iconic store in Piccadilly together with their outlets in St.Pancras, Heathrow and Dubai together with on-line order fulfilment. The latter service encompasses the assembly and packing of the world renowned Fortnum and Mason hampers.
The contract extension follows a successful Christmas period for Fortnum & Mason with like-for-like sales increasing by 15 per cent year on year during the five weeks to January 3rd. Within this growth online sales were up 38 per cent whilst hamper sales increased by 26 per cent on the prior year. Using the iForce Gateway service powered by the SMaRT software, Fortnum & Mason was able to launch to its customers the ability to choose the contents of their own hampers which were then built to this individual specification. This service has now been made available all year around.
