IKEA will promote its buy back and resale scheme for Black Friday. It will offer members of its loyalty programme an extra 20 per cent on their refund cards when selling items back to IKEA. The items sold to IKEA are sold as second-hand in circular hubs in IKEA stores and can also be reserved via the retailer’s online circular hub for later collection.
“During the busiest shopping period of the year, of course, we want to offer our customers a discount which they can use and benefit from,” said Anna Liakh, commercial activities leader, IKEA UK & Ireland. “We’re happy to be boosting buy back gift vouchers by 20 per cent so that customers can invest this discount into something they really need, either now or at a later date.”
