Online fashion business In The Style which was founded in 2013 has attracted a growth capital investment from Livingbridge. The 80 employee online business enjoyed sales of £15 million last year and launched both plus size and active wear ranges this year. Led by founder Adam Frisby the business has royalty arrangements with celebrities and fashion influencers including Binky Felstead, Charlotte Crosby and Billie Faiers. It will use the new investment to scale up operations including upgrades to its IT and infrastructure including new senior appointments.
Livingbridge has had successful investments in the fashion sector with businesses including Fat Face and Crew Clothing as well as with bike specialist Wiggle. Adam Frisby commented “I am delighted to have secured this investment from Livingbridge. They are a great investor who understands fast growing businesses in our industry. I set out to create a mobile first brand utilising social media influencers to bring people the very best fashion at affordable prices and I’m delighted that, in just three years, we have established ourselves in the market.”
