Insurer reduces Debenhams supplier cover

Additional pressure on Debenhams was applied today as one of its credit insurers Atradius withdrew its cover for Debenhams suppliers. This will mean that much of its Christmas stock will be required to be paid for in advance by an increasingly nervous roster of suppliers.
