Intermediaries for Royal Mail IPO

UK stockbrokers and share dealing services have been invited
to apply to act as intermediaries for the retail element of the proposed
initial public offering (IPO) of shares in Royal Mail, business minister
Michael Fallon has announced. Members of the public in the UK will have the
opportunity to buy shares in Royal Mail through a retail offer on the same
terms as institutional investors, and they will be able to buy shares through
existing or new stock broking accounts with firms that are appointed as
intermediaries in the IPO, or direct from the government.
