Unsurprisingly, US fashion retailer J Crew has confirmed that it is closing its six UK stores as part of a wider process to achieve a return to profitability via a full focus on its domestic market business. Going forward, international customers will still be able to buy from the brand’s global eCommerce platform.
FRP Advisory was called in earlier this year to review the UK business, which employed some 80 staff in its head office and stores, as the US parent fought its way out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy with the support of its creditors.
