JD Sports increases half year profits


JD Sports Fashion has reported an increase in its half year profits of 82 per cent to August 1st, at £46.6 million on sales of £809.9 million. Elsewhere in the group, its outdoors division which operates stores under the Blacks & Millets facias  there was a reported reduction in operating losses.
