<p>Jessops Chairman and well known entrepreneur, Peter Jones<br />
says, “This is a very exciting landmark deal for Jessops. It is a natural next<br />
step for our multi-channel strategy which is all about giving consumers the<br />
choice on how to buy. Our partnership with Sainsbury’s gives us the opportunity<br />
to extend our collect at store coverage, as well as bringing some unique new<br />
services to Sainsbury’s shoppers – like our plans for a ‘Junior Photography Club’<br />
for under 18s which will be run by our own expert staff ” </p>
<p>The new ‘Jessops Photography Stores’ will include a photo-print<br />
service with instant print kiosks, large format printing and a photo lab<br />
offering 25 minute express prints, there will be a 1 hour service on wall art<br />
and gifts, as well as a facility for the taking of approved passport photos.<br />
There will also be an accessory range including lenses, bags and memory cards, plus best-selling cameras and camcorders.<br />
Sainsbury’s customers will also have access to Jessops full range of over 2,000<br />
imaging products via its Collect at Store service </p>
<p>‘Building on Jessops reputation for great service will be<br />
at the heart of what we offer at the ‘Jessops Photography Stores’ and a great<br />
example of this is that any Sainsbury’s customer that purchases a camera from<br />
our ‘store in store’ will received a free tutorial’ said Peter Jones, Chairman.</p>
