Joules which trades through 99 stores and sells online has reported sales of £96.3 million for the year to May 2014 on which it recorded a £5.1 million pre-tax profit. Online sales had grown by 36 per cent with strong uptake of click & collect service and sales to countries including Germany and the USA were also buoyant and up by 44 per cent over the previous year. Strong investment in these key overseas markets means that current year sales are soaring and the business confidently expects it will break the £100 million sales barrier.
