Julian Dunkerton who co-founded Superdry fifteen years ago is stepping down from its board and making a £1.2 million donation in shares to the Blue Marine Foundation, a charity set up to protect biodiversity in oceans. Dunkerton owns 25 per cent of the Superdry business and has, until recently, served as its brand director with Euan Sutherland as chief executive. The Cheltenham headquartered business floated in 2010 and has operations across 148 countries.
