London-based Aurora Fashions, which operates apparel brands
Coast, Karen Millen, Oasis, and Warehouse says it is planning
significant growth in 2010 thanks to a “rapidly growing
international online business”. Whilst it already ships to
27 countries, this year will see it open a US website for its
Karen Millen brand supported by local fulfilment.
It will also create local-language sites for all of its brands
starting with German, Dutch, and French websites. According to a
spokesperson, the work will likely be on one brand at a time with
no decision made as to which will be first.
Aurora Fashions has seen ecommerce sales double in the past two
years, now representing 10 percent of total UK sales.
