Knapp UK has won a gold award in the warehouse automation category at the inaugural IntraLogistics Awards. It was praised for the scale and complexity of the solutions which has enabled John Lewis to adapt its supply chain to meet radical changes in demand. In particular it was noted for the modular nature of the solution and its future proof design. The automated handling system is located at John Lewis’ national distribution centre at Magna Park in Milton Keynes.
