La Tienda does go home again

In what may seem like a case of shipping coals to Newcastle, La
Tienda, a Williamsburg, VA-based marketer of imported Spanish
foods, has launched a European website. La Tienda Europe ships to customers
throughout Europe-including Spain.

The European site accepts payment in euros, pounds, and US
dollars. Its customer service pages are written in both English
and Spanish, but the rest of the European site is English-only.
Orders will be fulfilled from its warehouse in Aliciente, Spain,
which the 12-year-old company uses to complement its Williamsburg
facility. In addition to speciality foods such as Bonito tuna,
chorizo sausages, stuffed olives, and paella rice, both La Tienda
sites sell cookware and ceramic tableware as well.
