Laura Ashley owner licenses brand for fashion offering

IMG has reached agreement with Laura Ashley owner Gordon Brothers to develop its relationship further with the introduction of a new clothing offer along with certain home and lifestyle categories for UK and overseas markets.

Gordon Brothers currently sells its home decorating ranges via Next’s Total Platform as well as in 50 Next stores in the UK. The new IMG deal will see the Laura Ashley brand expand into additional categories and reach markets further afield. Laura Ashley had, in the past, enjoyed considerable demand in the USA, Australia and Asia.

“We are delighted to partner with IMG to continue to expand Laura Ashley following the success of its spring homeware collection and fall fashion collaboration last year,” commented Tobias Nanda, Gordon Brothers president, brands. “Our focus in working with IMG will be to select additional strategic partnerships and collaborations to help bring the brand’s distinct aesthetic to consumers globally while continuing to develop our current brand partnerships.”
